OUR STORY
Built for the transition, not just the transaction.
Private equity firms have invested billions buying home services companies, and they bring expert teams to every negotiation. The owners on the other side of those conversations are often selling a business for the first and only time in their lives.
TriStar was founded to close that gap: to give owners the financial perspective, market knowledge, and personal commitment that a once-in-a-lifetime decision demands. We believe the total value of a sale includes what endures beyond the closing table: your employees, your customers, your reputation, and your financial life after the deal is done.
MEET SEAN DENNY, CFP®
A financial planner who became a business broker. That sequence matters.
Sean Denny started his career as a Certified Financial Planner, spending a decade helping clients understand their complete financial picture before making major decisions. That training shaped everything that followed. Through years of building and selling his own businesses, he learned what owners actually go through when their livelihood, identity, and legacy are all on the table at once.
TriStar was founded to bring that perspective to business owners who deserve more than a broker focused on closing the deal. Sean’s first question is never about your revenue. It is about your life: what retirement looks like, what matters most to you about your employees and customers, and what kind of buyer would actually honor what you have built.
